	De Dell Seeds was established in 1999 by Rosemary and Vince Trudell to give farmers a clear alternative to what is being offered today in the marketplace. To date we are the only "family-only" owned and operated Canadian Seed Corn Company. We are also proud to be the only non-GMO Seed Corn Company in Canada.      Rosemary and I are both from farm families and we keep our overhead low in order to keep our prices fair and reasonable, as we know what it takes to turn a profit on a farm.      Every summer, our children, William and Sarah, along with their friends and cousins make tens of thousands of hand pollinations in an attempt to breed new hybrids. We then test out thousands of new hybrids every year to bring to market new hybrids that will perform in different parts of Ontario. In 2005, we had testing sites in Tilbury, Chatham, Thamesford and Mount Forest with hundreds of new hybrids at each location.      In 2005 with the help of Steve Gubesch, we produced the first ever Certified Organic Seed Corn in Canada. The hybrid that we produced was our DL 1220 and we are planning to produce organic seed in a greater variety of hybrids every year as the demand for this product seems to be on the increase.
