How to Calculate How Much Seed Corn You Need:
1. Enter the number of acres you plan to plant.
2. Enter the planting rate (in thousands of seeds per acre).
3. The formula is: (Acres × Planting Rate) ÷ 80,000 kernels = Number of Bags Needed
Example: If you’re planting 100 acres at a rate of 32,000 seeds per acre: (100 × 32) ÷ 80,000 = 40 bags
