DL 1919 is a hybrid with excellent vigour. Dark green leaves in the spring help get it off to a good start during cold spring growing days. DL 1919 continues its rapid growth as it develops into a tall plant. Above average ear placement with loose husks, DL 1919 is impressive looking in the fall and will give you choice for an excellent early silage crop or harvesting for grain with late season strong stalks. Keep the population moderate and it will perform well under low stress environments.
